Millrock Resources (TSX-V: MRO) Makes OTC Best 50, Up 118% for the Year, Gears Up for Drilling in Sonora

Gerardo Del Real: This is Gerardo Del Real with Resource Stock Digest. Joining me today is president and CEO of Millrock Resources (TSX-V: MRO)(OTC: MLRKF), Mr. Greg Beischer. Greg, thank you for joining me today. I know you're all the way down in Sonora, Mexico this afternoon.

Greg Beischer: Yes, thanks a lot Gerardo. Yup, I'm visiting our office here in Hermosillo, Sonora State Mexico, and, you know, I live in Anchorage, Alaska. So it's kinda nice to get somewhere warmer once in a while.

Gerardo Del Real: Yes it is, and you've definitely earned it because I know it's a heck of a flight. I lived in Alaska for 17 years and both mom and dad are retired in Mexico, so I can appreciate the effort that it takes to get down there. Well listen Greg, you had some news on February the third. Millrock was named to the 2017 Over-the-Counter Best 50. Which is quite an accomplishment. I mean out of more than 400 companies, Millrock ranked in the top 10 with the change in average daily volume of 1,341% and a 2016 total return of 118%. Can you talk with us a little bit about that? I know that's quite an accomplishment for you guys.

Greg Beischer: Yeah, we were quite pleased to be recognized in this way. It was unexpected. We knew that we had had good share performance last year, but it was nice to be honored and recognized by the exchange in this way, and you know, I think we really did make a good return for our shareholders in 2016. Some folks probably bought stock in the 20-cent area and you know we're trading around 45-cents or 50-cents a share now. So that's a pretty good return. Of course the trick will be to repeat the requirements in the coming year. I expect we will. It looks like we've got a rising market. New actors, we have got good partnerships, we’re very active explorers, and you know I think in a rising market our share price will just naturally rise with it over the coming year. But for it to really go up of course we have to have some success with the drill bit. Bt it looks like we're going to a lot of drilling and therefore there's a chance that were going to make that great big discovery.

Gerardo Del Real: Excellent, now speaking that and working towards that end I understand that you're in Sonora meeting with your JV partner Centerra. Is that correct?

Greg Beischer: Yeah that's right. First of all, you know, we brought our entire team in, which is getting to be quite sizeable, you know, it's a really enthusiastic group of people. You've got them all into the town, into town from the field, to have a meeting here at our office with safety consultants who can make sure that we can execute this work safely. You know, I think our attention to these sort of things, social responsibilities, safety, professionalism goes hand-in-hand with the technical ability of our geologists and exploration team, and that's I think a lot of the reasons why major companies keep coming back to Millrock and forming partnerships with us. So it's great to have everyone here, and we've all been making plans for future exploration and future projects and, you know, Centerra Gold, great partner, has optioned two of our projects so far. You'll see that there will be more projects springing out of the strategic alliance we've developed with this company and so it's gonna be one project after another moving towards drill readiness and then executing the drill program. But now the crew is working on the Los Cuarentas gold project. It's an epithermal gold/silver target. We're just about complete on our geological, geochemical, and geophysical surveys.

We'll take a month or so to integrate all that data into our system. Interpret the results, and would look to a drilling program to test the targets that develop probably in the spring. So that Los Cuarentas gold project should be the next project that Millrock drills.

Gerardo Del Real: Excellent, I can't express enough as a shareholder just how happy it makes me to hear that you're down there establishing that social license, which is so important and that you're doing it before discovery. You're laying the groundwork now, so I commend you and the team down there for getting ahead of the curve there, and setting everything up, and doing things the right way. I think it's absolutely important to invest in the communities that you're working in.

Greg Beischer: Well you're right there Gerardo. Our geologists are the first ambassadors in the field and when they come into a new community they don't necessarily know what to expect. But we make sure they understand who we are, what we're up to, and do our very best to get off on the right foot.

Gerardo Del Real: Excellent. Greg, thank you for your time. I'm looking forward to the drill program at the Los Cuarentas project. That should be exciting, and hopefully we can have you back on soon as you advance some of the many projects in the portfolio.

Greg Beischer: Yup, and we'll be rolling into Alaska field season before we even know it, and some things are developing there. I'm sure we'll be talking about it soon, Gerardo.

Gerardo Del Real: I look forward to it Greg. Thanks again.

Greg Beischer: Okay. Bye now.
